Recall on Still-Not-Autonomous Tesla Cybertrucks
Elon Musk, your fascia's showing.
Tesla has recalled the majority of its ugly duckling Cybertrucks because they are literally falling apart. An exterior panel, shown on multiple web sites and in countless accounts on Twitter, has been peeling off the bullet-proof truck/SUV. The company says it will replace the rail system to which it attaches on the vehicle with a new, more durable connection.

That's probably not going to make Cybertruck owners very happy, given that the Aztec-styled vehicle has been encountering more that its share of difficulties. Tesla is notoriously known for poor quality control and poor fit and finish, but this might be one of the company's most egregious failures in that regard. Never mind that these vehicles are still not autonomous—and have been surpassed by Ford's Blue Cruise and GM's Super Cruise.
Meanwhile, those who have been fortunate enough to ditch their Cybertrucks have been snatching up the very highly regarded Rivian pickups and SUVs.
